The veteran actor is credited with being associated with the production of the first cinema scope and 70mm movies in Tollywood. The multifaceted personality has produced and directed many movies and also produced many successful TV serials. Recently, Krishna has been bestowed the NTR National Award for the year 2007. It is believed that the Andhra University is going to felicitate the actor with an honourary Doctorate in the ensuing convocation. Further, it is revealed that, the government of AP has written a letter to the Central Government recommending his name for the prestigious Padmasri award. It looks like an award filled New Year for Krishna!
