The suspense surrounding who will play the second lead in NTR's upcoming film is finally over.
It is Tanishaa, the younger sister of Bollywood actress Kajol who has been signed up for the film. For close to three months the filmmakers had been on the look out for a leading lady before zeroing in on Tanishaa, who will be making her Tollywood debut with the film. However, this is not her first stint down South as she has earlier worked in Unnale Unnale a Tamil movie. Directed by Meher Ramesh, Kantree is being produced by Ashwini Dutt with Hansika playing the lead in the movie. Tanishaa created quite a sensation with her bare all attitude in the Uday Chopra starrer Neal and Nikki but her acting career never really took off. Let's hope she has a better time in Tollywood.
