Shriya found herself at the receiving end of some scathing criticism from a not-so-well-known political outfit in Tamil Nadu for turning up in a daring neckline at a public function. But the girl must be appreciated for the dignity with which she handled the controversy. She could have easily shot back saying it's her prerogative to decide what she wears and set off an unending war of words and might have even garnered support from the feminists of the world. Instead she chose to tender a carefully worded apology thereby nipping the controversy in the bud and wining hearts of her naysayers themselves. Kuddos to Shriya.
