Vadivelu tickles Aamir Khan

Though his directorial venture Taare Zameen Par was based on a serious subject, very few know that Aamir Khan has got a strong penchant for comedy and humour. But it still came as a surprise when one learnt that the man who can make Aamir roll with laughter is none other than popular Tamil comedian-turned-hero Vadivelu. "Every time Vadivelu came on screen, Aamir was almost collapsed with laughter," says director Murugadoss, who is working with Aamir Khan.

"It all started when Aamir wanted to see how actress Asin looked on screen before signing her for the film. So I organized for a special screening of her latest Tamil film Pokkiri. Vadivelu was the main comedian in the film. We were all sitting and watching the film quietly, when Aamir suddenly started laughing loudly whenever Vadivelu's scenes appeared. Even though he does not understand Tamil, Aamir could not control his laughter while watching Vadivelu's antics and body language. He complimented Vadivelu saying 'he is very good'," said Murugadas.
