King of Indian Cinema - Rajendra Prasad

Effervescent actor Rajendra Prasad is an exceptional artist. He accomplished as Hero, Character artist, Comedian in many films. On Friday he was awarded with King of Indian Cinema at a function held at Ravindra Bharathi, in Hyderabad by Yuva Kala Vahini.

Chief Guest of the evening, Andhra Pradesh State Finance minister Sri. K. Rosayya, presented the awards to the winners. Addressing the gathering Minister said that Rajendra Prasad is a versatile actor. He added further that the Specialty of Rajendra Prasad is handing both character roles and comedy roles with same vigor. Yuva Kala Vahini has chosen 10 films released during 2007 as the Top films and gave awards to these films' Producers and Directors. Rajendra Prasad's Mee Sreyobhilashi has won the Special Jury Award. Speaking at the function Padma Bhuhan, Dr. C. Narayana Reddy appreciated Yuva Kala Vahini for giving these awards and advised them to conduct the review and debate programmes on the films. Saripalli Kondala Rao presided over the function. The guest of honor included Suchir India Chairman Dr. Y. Kiran, Sri. B. Subba Rao, Jounalist Vasiraju Prakasam and others.
