Katrina to do 'Naa vayasinka padahaare'

On the other hand, it is Katrina Kaif who will do the item song that Mumaith Khan had done in Mahesh-starrer 'Pokiri'. The song 'Naa vayasinka padahaare' has been a chart-topper for almost a year and is among the most popular item songs in Telugu.

The Hindi version of the film is being made by Boney Kapoor as Wanted with Salman Khan in the lead.

So, it's little wonder that Katrina gave the nod for the song. Also, we are told that she is being paid a bomb! Soon, the song will be shot in Chennai.

'Bujjigadu' serenades his gals in Italy

'Bujjigadu' -- Made in Chennai is the forthcoming film of Prabhas. Nearly 90 per cent of the film's shooting is already complete.

Presently, the film's unit is in Italy to shoot some songs. Prabhas has two girls vying for him in Trisha and Sanjana.

After 'Chiruta', it will be director Puri Jagannath's first release.

Charmme to do Kajra re for Rs 25 lakh

It is a well-known fact that Tarun and Ileana are doing a Telugu version of 'Bunty aur Babli'. The film is being directed by K Vijayabhaskar.

The latest tinsel ville gossip is that apparently, Charmme has been approached to do an item song in the film. However, the main news is that Charmme has quoted a cool Rs 25 lakh for doing the song.

Earlier, the names of Bipasha Basu and Nayanatara too had come up in this regard. However, Nayanatara couldn't do it as she has just signed Rajini's film.

After the 'Maha maha' number, looks like the makers feel Charmme will have the right jhatkas for the Telugu version of Kajra re.

The shooting of the song will be done in Hyderabad from March 6. A huge set is being erected for the shoot, which will take about three days.

Trisha, Dhanush in southern 'Jab We Met'?

We had reported some days back that the rights of Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur-starrer 'Jab We Met' have been bought by Moser Baer and that they intend to make it in all south Indian languages.

Now, the latest talk in tinsel ville is that Trisha and Dhanush could be playing the roles that Kareena and Shahid had played in the original.

It is being said that the film could be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and hence the pair have been chosen as both the audiences know them.

Though she is still to sign the dotted line, Trisha has said that she is very excited about being approached to play the southern version of Geet.

It seems she loved the film and loved Kareena's character, especially in the second half.

Why is Parvati Melton doing devotional films?

Not many heroines get to play the lead in devotional films. Now, Parvati Melton is one heroine who has two such films in her kitty.

While 'Buddha' released today, where she is paired opposite Suman, she has another film Ranga Panduranga opposite Balakrishna getting ready for release.

But that is not all. She also has Jalsa lined up for release with Pawan Kalyan in March.

We wonder if she is being plain smart and making hay while the sun shines or if she is trying to experiment with her looks.

Nitin, Kajal in Dubai

It's still chilly in the Middle East and the Aatadista team is in Dubai to shoot some songs there. The idea is to avoid the summer heat, as the season will soon change there.

Nitin and Kajal are busy shifting locations for their songs.

The film is being produced by C Kalyan and AS Ravi Kumar Choudhary is directing it.

Another song will be shot in Hyderabad, once the unit returns to the city. The film also has Nagababu and Ravali making a comeback after a long time, playing important roles.

Sunita all smiles about six Nandi awards, denies acting

This is not her first, but sixth Nandi award. In a career spanning about a decade, it is indeed an achievement to get six Nandi awards. And the credit goes to popular playback singer Sunita. While she got her first Nandi for giving playback on television, she has bagged her latest Nandi for the song Andanga lena from the film 'Godavari' by Shekhar Kammula.

She specially thanked Krishnavamsi for giving her a break along with Sasi Preetam and 'Sirivennela' Sitarama Sastry. But that was not all. She had a long list of people to thank who had helped her through out her singing and dubbing career and the journalists for all their goodwill and suppport.

Sunita also denied reports about her getting into acting. She said in her sweet and now popular voice that they were baseless rumours and said that singing was her lone priority, for now and forever.

It's Meena opposite Jagapati Babu

'Kadha Paryambol' is the Malayalam film that is now being remade in Tamil and Telugu with Rajinikant in the lead. The film will have Jagapati Babu playing the other hero alongside Rajini.

Initially, it was said that Tabu could be playing the heroine opposite Jagapati Babu. But apparently, director P Vasu was very keen on signing on Meena, who had played that role in the original.

As per the story, Meena had to play the mother of three children and is said to have put in an amazing performance. So now, it will be Meena and Jagapati Babu once again.

Jagapati Babu and Meena had earlier acted in the hit film 'Subhakanshalu'.

Venu Madhav is Vinayak's lucky mascot

We all know those from the film industry are finicky about a lot of things. One thing is that they are highly superstitious.

Yesterday, at the audio function of 'Premabhishekam', VV Vinayak revealed that Venu Madhav was his lucky charm.

He said all the films he had made with Venu Madhav have been hits and said that he could not think of making a film without his favourite comedian.

Nag wants to do 'Patalabhairavi'

Nagarjuna sans moustache looked different. But given that he has just won his third Nandi award, that was the focus of attention for the journalists yesterday evening at the Annapurna Studios.

He thanked his director Raghavendra Rao, music director MM Keeravani and writer JK Bharavi for making it possible. As for Raghavendra Rao, he had special thanks as this is the second film directed by him that Nagarjuna has received an award for. Earlier, they had worked together for Annamayya too.

Of course, thanking all those who had helped him reach where he was what we had expected all along. But what came as a real surprise was his expressing the hope that he would one day be able to act in a film like Patalabhairavi.

He said he has had enough of devotional films, but said he was looking forward to act in a fantasy film like Patalabhairavi. He said he was looking forward to a producer to make such a film and said he was game to do it any day. But we hope Nag makes it under his home production house, Annapurna Productions, as we can get to watch it ASAP.

But looks like Nag wants to act in remake films now. Recently, Balakrishna told in an interview that Nag hoped that they could do a remake of 'Gundamma Katha'.

Come April 10, we'll get to watch Kamal and Mallika Sherawat

While on 'Dasavataram', the film is having a worldwide release on April 10. Nayanatara and Asin are playing the glamour girls in the film.

But the real oomph factor would be provided by Mallika Sherawat. She will be playing a surprise role in the film, which is being kept under wraps.

It would be really interesting to watch this unusual pair on screen.

However, given that it is Kamal Haasan, we are bound to watch some really scintillating performances from both of them.

Nitin's 'Satyam Sivam Sundaram' to be revived

Nitin and Meera Chopra starrer titled 'Satyam Sivam Sundaram' met the fate as many films and has been lying in cold storage for a long time now.

Despite having Nitin in the lead, the film hasn't been released in Telugu. But the film's director Siddique, who is from Malayalam, has recently made it in Tamil as Sadhu Mirinda.

The film was released in Tamil Nadu and is doing well. So now, the makers are looking forward to releasing the film in Andhra too.

Kamal to dance to Himesh's to 'Dasavataram'

Kamal Haasan will next be seen in Telugu in the multi-lingual film 'Dasavataram'. We will get to see him in 10 get-ups, one more than the nine get-ups in the film Navaratri, which has inspired Kamal to make this movie.

He also takes the title credits for writing the story and screenplay for the film. Navaratri had ANR donning nine characters and Sivaji Ganesan playing the same part in Tamil.

Yet another highlight of the film would be Himesh Reshamiyya's music.

He will be making his debut in south with this film. Incidentally, the film is also being made in Hindi. Another interesting part is that the re-recording of the music has been done by Devisri Prasad.

Val's Day tragedy for Happy Days' Rahul

Even as the world celebrates St Valentine's Day, tragedy struck Rahul aka Tyson, of Happy Days. He lost his father today morning suddenly as he died of heart attack.

It is a well-known fact that Tyson has had many tweens turning hysterical wherever he has made an appearance after the release of 'Happy Days'.

His co-stars from the film and his director Shekhar Kammula have expressed their sympathies to Tyson and his family.

Ash wants babies, not 'Robot' with Rajini

Shankar and Co are in panic mode. After offering her a whopping Rs 6 crore and despite having got the nod from Aishwarya Rai, they are now in a fix as the green-eyed Bachchan bahu is now keen on having a baby before she turns 35.

And being the professional that she is, she sweetly but firmly conveyed the same to the 'Robot' team. Looks like Rajinikant and Ash's pairing is jinxed as this is not the first time that attempts trying to pair them have failed.

Tabu is playing the other heroine in the film.

So, now the team is hunting for the leading lady all over again. At least, that's how things stand for now.

'Nagaram' on March 1

Srikant will be seen playing a mass role once again in 'Nagaram' being made by M Anji Babu and P K Kishore Babu. The story as the title suggests is set in a city and Srikant is said to have a well-etched character.

The unit has just returned from Mumbai, where they had shot a song Hoshiyare hoshiyare on Manisha Koirala and Srikant.

The film is being wrapped up so they can release it on March 1.

Nee Sukhame. on Feb 22

Sneha and Raja are acting in the film 'Nee Sukhame Ne Korukunna'. After 'Mr Medhavi', Raja hopes the film would do well as it is a character that wishes good for all.

Character artiste Giri Babu has turned a director with this film.

Giribabu feels that the film's story would draw in family audience. The release date has been finalized for February 22.

Sneha will start off the year with this film.

This film has nameless characters

Telugu directors are not very open to experimentation. But slowly we are seeing an increase in the number of multiplex films with innovative storylines.

One such film happens to be 'Koncham Kottaga' with Venkat and Tulip Joshi in the lead. It is a unique effort to offer something new for the audience, says the hero of the film Venkat.

The film is being directed by Raju Rajendra Prasad.

Ashish Vidyarthi is playing a special role in the film. The main highlight would be that none of the characters will be having names in the film.

The story has enough momentum to come to an end without the characters knowing each other's name, discloses Venkat. It does sound interesting from what we hear.

Raja to act with Kamna Jethmalani

While on our dimpled hero, Raja is all set to act in another film with Kamna Jethmalani. Kamna who debuted in Telugu, moved to Chennai after grabbing some good offers.

Now, she is back to trying her luck here. As for Raja and herself, they have already acted together in Toss. Now, they will be seen in a film directed by Raviraja Pinisetty.

Those who have seen Kamna are really surprised about her new look.

They say she looks quite different from her early days in the Telugu industry.

'Chintakayala Ravi' shoot from March 1st Week

Venkatesh's current project is titled 'Chintakayala Ravi' and is being directed by Yogi. It has Anushka playing one of the heroines.

Te latest news from the film director is that the film's shooting will begin from March 1st Week in Hyderabad.

Then a month-long shooting will be resumed on May 15 in the US. During this time, three songs and some major scenes will be shot.

Though Charmme is said to have been chosen as the other heroine, the news is yet to be confirmed by the film unit. For now, they maintain the hunt is on for the second heroine.

Rana to make animation films

Rana, the grandson of Dr D Ramanaidu and son of Suresh Babu says he is looking forward to his stint as an actor. He says he has been attending a lot of story sittings and is looking for the right script to make his debut as an actor.

Meanwhile, he says he dreams about making a comic animation film in four to five years.

He says his knowledge of the gaming technology would be helpful in making such films under the Suresh Productions banner, says he.

Feb 11, the day megastar gave his first shot

It is the day apparently when the megastar first put on the grease paint and gave his first shot before the camera. According to the industry sources, February 11 was the first day when the megastar started off his illustrious career.

His first film was 'Punadirallu' directed by Raj Kumar. He played one of the boys in the film and his first shot was to complete work in the fields and go on to have food by one of his friend's mother.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi was quite clear about his look even then. It seems he tried to make himself look shabby to fit into a farmhand's role.

Those who had seen him then say that it is no surprise that he moved on to become the megastar, he is today. They say his commitment to work and little details helped him come a long way since then.

We only hope the megastar would do many more memorable roles and dons various get-ups before he calls it a day.

We are not lovers, says Nayanatara

Poor Nayanatara. Looks like controversies like this Malayalee belle. First it was the pictures of her with her ex-beau Simbu doing the rounds on the Net. Then of course, it was the bikini scene in 'Billa'.

Now, the hottest rumours in the Tamil film industry are about her alleged relationship with her co-star Vishal. But this time, Nayanatara decided not to keep quite for too long.

She has denied the affair and says it is a figment of imagination.

For now, the Vishal and Nayanatara are shooting for 'Salute'.

Narayanamurthy begins to experiment

First it was the news of Kuchipudi Venkat casting him in his forthcoming film, which could either have Charmme or Anushka in the lead.

Even as we are still recovering from the shock, comes the news that he has played a guest role in R P Patnaik's directorial venture 'Andamaina Manasulo', which will be releasing on the Valentine weekend.

Apart from these, he has his own production 'Erra Samudram' ready for release which belongs to his genre of films. Looks like he is now game to try and play different roles, as is the norm with most actors these days.

'Kucheludu' to made in Hindi by Shah Rukh

We all know that Rajinikant will act in the Tamil and Telugu version of 'Katha Paryambol', the Malayalam movie that had Mammotty in the lead.

It is being made by K Balachander in Tamil and by C Aswini Dutt in Telugu as 'Kucheludu'. The latest news is that Priyadarshan has bought the rights of the film for making a Hindi version.

What is interesting is that it is now being rumoured that Shah Rukh Khan may play the role that Rajinikant would be playing in Tamil and Telugu.

It's stars everywhere

Allu Arjun is one hero from the younger generation who is a diehard party animal. When he's not shooting, he is seen pub hopping and having a nice time with his filmi pals.

This Saturday was no exception. Then, there were a posse of stars who we spotted partying around town. For starters, there were two other regulars, Ravi Teja and Raja chilling out.

Not to forget Navadeep, who does more clubbing than shooting. Then there was Trisha and Poonam Bajwa too having a nice time.

But Vishal was the surprise element.

Singers get married in the month of lovers

Mallikarjun, the now famous playback singer and Gopika Purnima tied the knot on Sunday morning. Both are doing well as playback singers and that is how the young pair met.

Mallikarjun and Purnima, both of whom were spotted in talent shows, had a traditional wedding attended by friends and family. Mallikarjun is also a protégé of S P Balasubramanyam.

His most popular song was the one he had sung for the megastar in 'Indra'.

Though Balu couldn't make it as he is touring the US, S P Sailaja, Bhuvanachandra and Chandra Mohan were among those present at the wedding, from the film fraternity.

'Jalsa' songs pirated on to the Net

Piracy has become a serious problem to the Telugu film industry. Despite the stars requesting their fans to refrain from watching pirated versions, the craze for such content continues as the fans want to watch their favourite hero hook or crook.

Recently, we had the trailer of 'Okka Magadu' being released on the Net, without the knowledge of the makers.

That looks mild as compared to the pirated CDs of 'Thulasi' movie that were sold in trains immediately after the film's release in some districts of Andhra. Rajinikant's 'Sivaji' too met with a similar fate.

Now, it's the turn of Pawan Kalyan to face the brunt of piracy. The songs of his forthcoming film 'Jalsa' are now available on the Net.

It goes without saying that there is frenzy among his fans to download the songs and make CDs of them, so they can watch more of their favourite star.

Devisri Prasad has composed the music for the film and it is said to be rather good. A serious incident of piracy has been reported from Amalapuram already.

Vamsi to do what he never did before

For the first time in his career, Vamsi will be directing two films simultaneously. This time, he is making a film with Krishna Bhagwan as the solo hero.

Titled 'Kondababugadi Idea', it will be quintessential Vamsi film. Incidentally, it was Vamsi who had introduced Krishna Bhagwan in a negative role in 'April 1 Vidudala'.

Then he acted in some more film, till he got a proper break after 'Avunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru', again with Vamsi.

Krishna Bhagwan says he never expected to turn a hero in the first place, but adds that he is thrilled to play a solo hero for Vamsi, who had given him a break in the industry.

Naresh 25th film 'Pellikaani Prasad' on Feb 21

Allari Naresh is here, there, everywhere. Close on the heels of 'Sundarakanda' and 'Visakha Express', he has 'Pellikaani Prasad' lined up for release.

The film directed by Satyam Dwarapudi is now complete and so the makers had held a press conference to announce the release date.

Aalapati Ramesh Kumar, Anishetty Ramesh, who is producing the movie under the Godavari films' banner, said he was happy about the way the film had turned out.

ANR, Krishnam Raju watch 'Mee.'

It is one film that has intrigued the entire film industry. Though made on low budget with good cast, the film has been a sudden hit and the makers are talking of how good films will always have audience.

'Mee Sreyobhilashi' was screened to ANR and Krishnam Raju along with Murali Mohan and others recently.

Like all those who watched the film, they had a unanimous opinion -- that Telugu filmmakers too could make good films with a strong social message.

Vijayanirmala directs hubby Krishna once more

Recently, on a telly show, Vijayanirmala had disclosed that she would be soon directing her husband. Even as we wondered when, here comes the news that she is already in action.

The film was formally launched yesterday and it has her husband and superstar Krishna in the lead. Titled 'Soldier', it has Krishna playing the tile role and Balaji, Farhana playing the young couple in the film.

Naturally, the twosome is happy to be working together again. Incidentally, Balaji is producing the film under the Sai Santosh Films' banner.

Vamsi's next titled 'Gopi, Gopika, Godavari Teeram'

With Vamsi nothing is surprising. Known for his individualistic style, he is also known for his wacky sense of comedy. So it is did not really shock us when we were told the title of Vamsi's next film.

To be called Gopi, Gopika, Godavari Teeram, the film is being made by Valluripalli Ramesh under the Maharshi Cinema banner.

Earlier, Vamsi had made Avunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru for the same banner. Chakri will be composing the music for the film. However, the lead pair is yet to be finalized.

Will Arjun be 'Premikudu' after 'Romeo'?

Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for Bommarillu Bhaskar's film being made by Dil Raju. Sheila is his love interest in the film.

Earlier, there were rumours that this yet-to-be-titled film could be named 'Romeo'. Then there was a long lull. Now, sources from his production house tell us that Allu Arjun's film could be titled 'Premikudu'.

Since it is said to be frothy love story, the title seems appropriate, though a bit outdated. Didn't we already tell you that Aditya Music has bagged the music right for the film?

Mani Sarma has scored the music for the film.

Aditya adds 'Kantri' and 'Bujjigadu' to its kitty

Aditya Music has bagged the music rights of two more huge films. Like we had already mentioned, 'Jalsa' and Arjun's film have already been bought by them.

The company apparently coughed up Rs 96 lakh for the 'Jalsa' rights. Now, it has got NTR's Kantri and Prabhas' Bujjigadu.

While Mani Sarma has scored the music for 'Kantri', Sandeep Chowta has scored the music for 'Bujjigadu'.

Though the price hasn't been disclosed as yet, Aditya is said to have paid very good prices for both of them as the music is said to have come out really well in both the films.

Vishnu wants to work with Nag uncle again!

Vishnu has become a huge fan of Nagarjuna ever since he worked with him in the recently released Krishnarjuna. Nag too on his part, is really pleased with his younger co-star.

He has gone to the extent of saying that he would any day work with Vishnu again as he liked his jovial self.

But now comes the news that Vishnu had told a popular Telugu weekly that he would love to work with Nag uncle again. We only hope they find a really good script to work together once more!!

Preeti to tie the knot with Pravin Dabas

Preeti Jhingiani is the girl who plays the lead in Naresh-Rajeev Kanakala starrer 'Visakha Express'. The film has just hit the screens and it has revived the non-existent career of Preeti Jhingiani.

The girl who has made a promising debut with Yash Raj's Mohabbatein was relegated to playing small roles in Bollywood. She then tried her luck down south.

But here too dame luck eluded her. Her most memorable film till date has been Narasimha Naidu, in which she was seen opposite Balakrishna.

Latest news about her from Bollywood is that she has been good friends with co-star Pravin Dabas for two years now.

Pravin himself is a model and actor, who is also an avid scuba-diver. Preeti will be tying the knot with Pravin in the third week of March, say sources close to her.

Aren't we happy for her and we wish her all the very best!

Raaj Aditya takes to Telugu industry

Director Raaj Aditya is a very happy man these days. 'Pourudu' has got good collections and has got good reviews. Most importantly, it has worked wonders for Sumanth's career.

Suddenly, the industry is looking at him in a new light.

However, though Raaj Aditya directed his first Telugu film in Pourudu, he is rather used to the skills of film-making, as he has worked with Priyadarshan for a long time now.

His father, it seems is also from the film fraternity and has years of experience in the Malayalam industry.

After Pourudu, Raaj Aditya has a film with Supergood Films and the offers are still pouring in.

Varun Sandesh: Tinsel ville's shooting star, six and still going strong

Glamour beckoned him from the Yankee land and he dropped in his portfolio to act in Shekhar Kammula's Happy Days. The rest as they is history. His looks and his chilled attitude have got him quite a few offers. And like a sensible newcomer, Varun Sandesh signed them all.

Now, can we blame him for not turning down very many as he had offers from some of the most prestigious banners in the industry. The production houses are a dream come true even for established actors, and when Dame Luck knocked on Varun Sandesh's door, he was smart enough to let her in with arms wide open.

He is a busy boy for two years as he has more or less six films lined up. For starters, there is Dil Raju's film Kotta Bangaru Lokam, which could be releasing on June 14. Then there is Pellivari Illu with MS Raju's Sumanth Arts. Another movie that has been confirmed and will soon go on the floors is being made under the AVM banner. Shankar Marthand, who is the younger brother of ace editor Martand K Venkatesh, will be making his debut as a director with this film.

There are two other films for which the makers are in parleys with Varun. One is Manyam Entertainments' movie which could be finalized soon and then there is Sagam Naga Ashok Kumar's film that Shekhar Kammula would be directing. So, it will be about 2010 by the time Varun Sandesh is free once again. Well, that is if he does not many more films along the way!!!

Keka to kick start on Feb 22

Keka, the movie by Teja that will have a cast comprising newcomers who were chosen from the Kingfisher Talent Hunt, will be launched in the city on February 22. As is already known, Suresh Babu is producing the film.

But it's not just Teja. According to the tinsel ville grapevine, Chandrasekhar Yeleti too would be launching his film on the same day, as it is said to be an auspicious one. Tentatively titled Hayi Hayiga, this film too will have a cast comprising newcomers and will be shot in Sweden. A talent hunt is currently on for the lead pair. Check out the advertisement on our site for further details.

Nitin's film with Manyam Entertainments in April

Nitin may not have had a proper hit in a long time. But that seems to be no deterrent to Telugu filmmakers as they are signing him for film after film. He has two films in the making and another one has been finalized. It will be made by Manyam Entertainments and the shooting will begin in the first week of April. Nagababu too will be playing an important character in the film.

Well-known artiste GV will be making his debut as a director with the film. Incidentally, it is also his story idea. Mani Sarma has been signed to compose the music for the film. No heroine has been decided yet.

For now, Manyam Entertainments is making Pardhu, which has Lawrence along with Sneha and Namita in the lead. Nitin's film will go on the floors, once Pardhu is wrapped up.

Nagababu asks fans wait for Chiru's statement

After numerous rumours and never-ending reports about Chiranjeevi's entry into politics, his younger brother Naga Babu finally sent a personally signed faxed message to all media offices, asking them to refrain from any speculation.

One Telugu channel has done a story saying the megastar would announce his party launch on the Republic Day and actually launch it on April 7, Ugadi, the Telugu New Year. However, Republic Day has come and gone and the megastar has made no announcements.

However, news-hungry channels and his fans looking forward to his political entry have been spinning stories about his political forays. Looks like Chiranjeevi's family has finally decided to put a stop to such rumours and has asked both the fans and the media to stop discussing the issue till the megastar makes a statement about his future political plans, if any.

Kunal of Premikula Roju commits suicide

Remember the fair guy who was paired opposite Sonali Bendre in Premikula Roju? Originally made in Tamil, the film was dubbed into Telugu. Though the film did not work too well with the audience, AR Rahman's melodious numbers are still remembered.

Sadly, Kunal, whose career did not quite take off after the one odd film he had done, committed suicide in his apartment in Mumbai last night. Though the immediate cause is not known yet, it is being felt that he took the extreme step after his wife left him with their two children, following trouble in their marriage.

His body was found by his friend Lavina, who happened to be with him in his rented apartment at that time. Given the circumstances, the police feel Lavina with whom Kunal was working on a Bollywood script at the time of his death was the reason behind the split with his wife.

Investigations are still on to find the actual cause of death.

Salute will be ready by May

It's an unusual love story between a police officer and a journalist. The reporter is played by Nayanatara and the officer is played by Vishal.

Right now, the shooting is on in and around Hyderabad. The film is a bi-lingual and will be called Satya in Tamil. A Rajasekhar is directing it, while Vikram Krishna is producing it.

The music for the film has been composed by Harris Jayaraj. The Telugu version has Ali, Brahmanandam among others in the cast. One of the main highlights would be the graphics that are being used says producer Vikram Krishna.

Kajal is the girl for Ram Charan

Kajal Agarwal is considered to be the most promising Mumbai import. She has already worked with Teja and Krishnavamsi.

Now, she has got the role opposite Ram Charan in SS Rajamouli's film. We had already said that Charan was doing Rajamouli's film, given that the later was highly impressed after watching him in Chiruta.

The shooting, it is being said will begin on Febraury 26 in Rajasthan.

Kajal surely is one lucky babe!

Charmme is not out of bounds

Usually, big heroes or heroines tend to be out of reach once they reach a certain position in their career. But some actors make it a point to mix and match their films, so they can have the best of both worlds.

One such girl is Charmme. After having done her share of usual commercial films, she is now taking chances and trying out various characters.

So she gets to do films with people like Bapu and Chandrasekhar Yeleti, while not missing out on out-and-out commercial films like 'Chintakayala Ravi' with Venkatesh, which is currently in the making.

'Mee Sreyobhilashi' to be screened for Amitabh

The makers of 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' are now planning to show their film to Amitabh Bachchan and hope to get him to play the lead role in the Hindi version.

Given the success and critical acclaim for their film, they are enthusiastic to make the film in almost all Indian languages.

It seems, Nazir had already approached them for Tamil film rights. Now, if Amitabh likes the film, they hope it will get recognition at the national level.

It goes without saying that director Eeswar Reddy is really thrilled with the turn of events and the unending praise the film has been getting.

Kalyan Ram shoots in Film Nagar

Kalyan Ram is doing his forthcoming film under his home production NTR Arts. Harsha Vardhan, also known as Swarna Subbarao is directing the film.

Now, some fight scenes are being shot in a building in Film Nagar. Fight choreographers Ram Laxman supervised the shots involving Kalyan Ram.

Priyamani is playing the lead opposite him. The title is yet to be confirmed.

Teja gets PC Sriram, Ilayaraja for 'Keka'

Teja is mighty thrilled that he has roped in ace cinematographer PC Sriram to handle the camera for his film Keka. The film's shooting will begin on February 22 here and Thota Tharani is the art director.

It is a love story with newcomers and looks like Teja is going to make it really beautiful, given the line-up of technicians he has.

Ilayaraja will be composing the music for the film.

Now, that's what we call a prestigious line-up.

Aditya Om back in action

Remember Aditya Om, who played the role that Suneil Shetty played in the original 'Hera Pheri'? 'Vasanta Raagam' is the name of the movie and he has Manya and Madhu Sarma playing the female lead.

The movie is being produced under the Uday Movies' banner by Alle Palli Prabhakar.

The film is being shot in Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Ankapur and other places. The makers hope to complete the film by March 10. KV Simha is directing the film.
