Charmme to do Kajra re for Rs 25 lakh

It is a well-known fact that Tarun and Ileana are doing a Telugu version of 'Bunty aur Babli'. The film is being directed by K Vijayabhaskar.

The latest tinsel ville gossip is that apparently, Charmme has been approached to do an item song in the film. However, the main news is that Charmme has quoted a cool Rs 25 lakh for doing the song.

Earlier, the names of Bipasha Basu and Nayanatara too had come up in this regard. However, Nayanatara couldn't do it as she has just signed Rajini's film.

Trisha, Dhanush in southern 'Jab We Met'?

We had reported some days back that the rights of Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur-starrer 'Jab We Met' have been bought by Moser Baer and that they intend to make it in all south Indian languages.

It is being said that the film could be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and hence the pair have been chosen as both the audiences know them.

Though she is still to sign the dotted line, Trisha has said that she is very excited about being approached to play the southern version of Geet.

It seems she loved the film and loved Kareena's character, especially in the second half.

Why is Parvati Melton doing devotional films?

Not many heroines get to play the lead in devotional films. Now, Parvati Melton is one heroine who has two such films in her kitty.

Sunita all smiles about six Nandi awards, denies acting

This is not her first, but sixth Nandi award. In a career spanning about a decade, it is indeed an achievement to get six Nandi awards. And the credit goes to popular playback singer Sunita. While she got her first Nandi for giving playback on television, she has bagged her latest Nandi for the song Andanga lena from the film 'Godavari' by Shekhar Kammula.

She specially thanked Krishnavamsi for giving her a break along with Sasi Preetam and 'Sirivennela' Sitarama Sastry. But that was not all. She had a long list of people to thank who had helped her through out her singing and dubbing career and the journalists for all their goodwill and suppport.

Sunita also denied reports about her getting into acting. She said in her sweet and now popular voice that they were baseless rumours and said that singing was her lone priority, for now and forever.
